How are my purchases shipped to me?

All items ordered are sent overnight to all major capitals in Australia. Regional areas in Australia may take an extra one of two days for delivery. In the event that an item is not in stock, you will be informed about a delay and alternative arrangements may be worked out if it is an emergency. For large heavy items, such as Digital Video Recorders, they will be sent by road due to the size and weight, which would be very expensive to ship by air freight. Discreet shipping is also available, just simply leave a note in the 'Special requests' section when placing your order.

Is my credit card information safe ordering online?

All credit card information is processed with use of 128-bit Secure Socket Layer protection. We also employ 1024 bit RSA and 56 bit DES, this is the strongest encryption method the government will allow. It is absolutely impossible for credit card information to be stolen while being processed. You will see a padlock icon or a key icon in the lower left or lower right of your browser when you are entering your credit card information to finalize your order.

What will my credit card statement show?

Your credit card statement will report your purchase as 'Footprint Security'.

What will you do with my private information, will you ever sell it or put me on a mailing list?

Your private information remains just that! Your privacy is assured when dealing with Footprint Security. We will never share you information with anyone else. You won't ever be contacted or receive mailings from us or anyone else affiliated with us, unless its directly related to an order (e.g. if we are out of stock or have trouble with your CC details). However, if you have joined our news and specials newsletter, then you will receive that!

What if something arrives broken?

Goods are always packed with protective packaging and it is highly unlikely that any goods will arrive broken. However if something arrives broken we will replace it.

I don't want to order online. Can I phone my order through?

Yes, you can phone your order through by calling 1300 852 400.

Can I order by mail or fax?

Yes, we do accept orders by mail. You may simply print a copy of the shopping cart screen from the webpage (make sure that the shipping amount is included) or use our fax order form. Fax this to: 61 7 5529 6155 or mail this to us with a cheque, money order or credit card details to: Footprint Security PO Box 1218 Runaway Bay, 4216, Queensland, Australia Please remember to include your personal details including phone number and delivery address.

How long does your shipping take?

We process your order within 12 hours of receiving it, domestic shipping (within Australia) takes 2 to 3 business days, depending on where you live. Large items may take up to 5-7 days. International orders can take a bit longer, on average about 5 to 7 days. but under some circumstances it can take longer. If you require goods within a certain time please let us know. Goods can be shipped by international courier and usually arrive with in 4 days up to 1 month, depending on location please ask for a quote.
